Bliss & Faith today

Since we can’t go for an evening walk
in the winter we play fetch.
I want my children and my grandchildren to live in a world with clean air, pure drinking water, and an abundance of wildlife, so I’ve chosen to dedicate my life to wildlife conservation so I can make the world just a little bit better.

“In every walk with nature one receives far more than he seeks.”
Girlfriends Renew each other’s Spirits
A famous study by Harvard Medical School has been following female nurses’ health for decades. The study has found that the more friends these women have, the less likely they have been to develop physical impairments as they age.

Being aware of the sun on my face – the laughter of my children – my lover’s hand in mine – the silky fur of my clean dog…these are the moments that make up life.
In graduate school, I had a professor who, for whatever reason, didn’t want to give me an ‘A’. I was three points away from my ‘A’. I KNEW what was coming – and I was correct:
“Professor, you said that if we came to every class and always participated that we would get extra credit.”

In a world with global warming, Covid, war, bullying…my love and I live in the mountains, enjoy each other and try not to think too much…
The autumn color is awe-inspiring. My flower boxes against the golden aspen can’t be ignored.
