Since we can’t go for an evening walk

in the winter we play fetch. It’s so fun

to have dogs that fetch!

Mine! Mine! Mine!

Photographing the cranes in the falling snow was fun.

It seems early to see them but then

the first day of spring is 5 weeks away

and we are having a very mild winter.

Bruce and I watched half of this

old movie on the evening of the 12th

and finished it on the 13th.  We especially

like the scene in the garden with the

chapel when Carry Grant visits his grandmother.

This evening, we will watch Love Story:

John F Kennedy Jr. & Carolyn Bessette

My husband and I enjoy celebrating each other

we’ve been together since I was 17 & he was 20

I enjoy a good love story.

I am so blessed and grateful

to get to live a good love story ~

  1. Lovely pictures! I know how those Border Collies can be! Ours is a fetch-a-holic! The San Juans are a beautiful mountain range.

  2. Julie and Bruce live a love story. One they created and nurtured. They are not actors in a movie with their love lasting only as long as the movie lasts, but enduring love and companionship over time. This Valentine’s Day is especially meaningful for me, because my husband and adult son are my full-time caregivers after a leg amputation last fall. Commitment, caring, compromise, gratitude, patience – Love is a two-way street. Sometimes it’s as simple as a message on snowy bench. How will you celebrate your love today and every day?
