My husband is romantic.
Over the years we’ve lived up here we often got all dressed up for New Year’s Eve and went out to dinner CLIMB; the fanciest restaurant at 9,000 ft. where we live. We don’t have to be concerned about traffic in the winter and we aren’t big drinkers so us going out, on New Year’s Eve where we live, isn’t risky.
The enchanted moment, where the ice crystals sparkle in the early morning sunlight, can’t be captured in a photograph and the peacefulness is just as breathtaking. The world is too noisy and busy and moments like this are magical.
Feeling so content and blessed in front of the fire my love made watching the early morning sky turn baby blanket pink and blue sipping hot hazelnut coffee from my purple cup and petting Hope our border collie – passing this contentment onward

Bruce and I are not foodies.
Nature almost always plays a part in a really good day for me. This morning’s walk on our nature trail included a rainbow cloud. It is a fairly rare phenomenon. It’s a little miracle to me that I was in the right place at the right time to get to see this.
WORKING AT LIFE
New Year’s Day 2022 this is my view in our tiny mountain village at 9,000 feet. Most people just want to visit in the summer. So this peacefulness is blessed.
What’s MOST IMPORTANT to me:

Connecting with my husband
Staying healthy – physically, mentally, spiritually
Publishing my work & connecting with my readers
I don’t know if I can keep up this pace but my goal is to keep at it:
Christmas Eve service with husband
New Year’s Eve dinner with husband – shared my gratitude jar entries for 2021 and we laughed, remembered and were thankful
We shared dessert – I took 1 bite of each
Husband & I are continually working at us.
On March 30, 2021 I received my 2nd COVID 19 vaccination at our medical center in Lake City, Colorado.
Symptoms after being vaccinated show our bodies are working to be able to fight the disease. After my first COVID 19 vaccination my arm was just a bit sore.
