Between the vaccine and perfect weather a change is the safe gathering of friends
It’s interesting being so closely connected to nature. As the season changes from winter to spring and from summer to autumn, we sometimes get graupel up here in the mountains.

Our border collie is so proud to lunge for the geese and make them fly. Soon though, they learn that she’s not getting in the water and much to Hope’s chagrin, they ignore her.
On March 2nd I received my first vaccine against COVID-19. I received the MODERNA vaccine which, 2 weeks after the 2nd shot is over 94% effective. My 2nd vaccination is scheduled for March 30th. As an essential worker my husband has had both of his vaccines, also MODERNA.
What a great day!
A lot of good has come from needing to stay at home. Zoom meetings and webinars are here to stay. It’s so very much easier and quicker to attend an 8:30 AM board meeting from home! Our home is 4 minutes outside the city limits in a beautiful secluded valley.

My husband and I returned home from a memorable trip to Italy at the end of October 2019. We were shocked a few weeks later about the flooding where we had recently been in Vince and then again a few months later about the Coronavirus in Italy.

Lifting the shade the other morning left me in awe as the glowing, picturesque crescent moon was coming over the mountain top. I smiled. I stood still enjoying the moment. I hurried to grab my camera and the moment.
It’s been said that the Moon represents powerful feminine energy; signifying wisdom, intuition, birth, death, reincarnation, and a spiritual connection.
