What is GOOD going on!?

The peacefulness of home

with my husband and our dogs

SNOW!

Much needed spring SNOW!

I love that I have a romantic husband.

I love that we’ve been together since I was 17 & he was 20…

Crystal Peak – the view from my writing nook

Fresh, sweet, juicy berries

These strawberries were surprisingly good for early May up here!

They transported me back in time to France in April 2024

when we bought the best strawberries ever at an open market where

you could smell the sweetness…

On one of our several daily walks on our nature trail – there was a moose!

Thankfully on the other side of the river.

Though the moose could have walked across, she did not!

It’s always a treat to (safely) encounter wildlife.

A picture of us all at Mass today to send to Elisa.

We love and miss you.

In celebration of Mother’s Day

Father Andres had a blessing and a rose for us mothers.

This is the first time I remember Bruce’s birthday and Mother’s Day

being on the same day. Our kids got together on this: 😊

Always satisfying to see my writing published.

And

I’m querying agents about representation for my picture book which is

about the seasons in the mountains. And I am writing a book proposal

for my memoir when I was a mentor for a high risk first grader.

Post what’s GOOD going on with you!

  1. What an awesome post! I love that I thought of you both this morning & sent a text & then opened this beautiful post! I love your view from your book. Such a blessing every day! You are a wonderful writer. You’ve always been inspirational & a great cheerleader too!

    1. Hi Claudia!
Thank you for expressing such kindness.
We feel fortunate to get to live where we do.
When Bruce and I were dating: picnics, the park, feeding the ducks, long walks – simple pleasure in nature were our favorite way to spend time together.
