There’s a beautiful quote from the Dalai Lama where he said that we’re born to help people
and if we can’t help them let’s at least not hurt them.
Make a wish…
I wish that everyone felt that way (in the above quote)

I want change for a better country / world.
We need women and men leading who will
follow the Constitution of the United States.
NO convicted felons or warmongers may apply.
Must pay their fair share of taxes.
Insanity is doing the same thing, over and over again,
but expecting different results: 2016 & 2025

Girlfriends keep us laughing
Janella was visiting
Judy and Linda were missed

Easy / Healthy meal or snack:
Beat an egg. Mash a very ripe banana into it.
Heat a skillet with PAM / olive oil spray
Cook on both sides – done!
You can add a splash of vanilla to the egg / banana mixture
I add some blueberries when almost finished cooking
I top with some honey
Taste like a banana pancake

Healthy / Tasty dinner last night:

Crested Butte’s flowers are about 4-6 weeks ahead of Lake City’s flowers

Both CB’s wild flowers and garden flowers are weeks ahead of LC’s

After the health fair and breakfast outside at a cute café
Bruce found a walking trail:

WHAT a GREAT DAY:
Our day(s) start with (blonde) Bliss and Faith
saying good morning! They come in our
bedroom to be petted and loved on.

“I think dogs are the most amazing creatures;
they give unconditional love.
For me, they are the role model for being alive”. – Gilda Radner

I lost track of time photographing this fluttering butterfly…
Good thing I had set an alarm to bring me back
as I was hosting a silent writing session in my on-line writing community.

My husband picked me a bouquet of wildflowers…
Little acts of thoughtfulness matter.

Today I got a letter from each of our grandchildren!
An adorable thank you note from our youngest :

From our just turned 7-year-old grandson

Our only granddaughter just turned 9
Her precious letter responding to my letter
We both like dragons!

From Ever-Sweet 12-year-old James:

From our first-born grandchild – so fun!
Incredible how the time has passed –
I have this memory of being out with toddler Caleb
and talking to a man about my grandbabies.
He said soon they won’t be babies anymore…

Feeling like I’m in a good place with my writing:
This morning, I emailed a book proposal
for the picture book I wrote this winter
I’ve been working on this blog post
I’m working on my mosaic memoir
I’m working on my memoir when I was a mentor to a 1st grader

When asked what is the biggest mistake people make in life
Buddha answered, “they think they have time…”

You only live once, but if you do it right, once is enough.

Lovely thoughts and photos as usual Julie.
I agree–it’s sweet to see your musings and images blended together.
Thank you Bonnie – glad you enjoy it.
