nature

In this time of the worldwide pandemic do you especially find nature soothing – how so?

I feel so energetic living in nature!!  My senses are alive as fresh air fills my lungs, the running river and birds sing, that earthy smell makes me smile. I feel comforted, at home, happily connected to life living in nature. This connect was totally missing living in suburbia, where I spent too much time in the car going ‘someplace.’ Nature is completely enchanting.

There is always a happy surprise!

Surprise! Snow in June! This is so Colorado – snow on flowers! These pictures are one day apart!

Unhappiness is forgotten as I become immersed in my surroundings. Television, alcohol and the internet can be fun diversions for awhile but walking in nature is a healthy, natural activity that never gets tiresome the way man-made ones do.

Something as uncomplicated as raindrops on leaves is a work of art. Interacting with nature rejuvenates my body and spirit.

Soaring colors – dazzling reds, glistening emeralds, deep blues – their iridescent feathers sparkle in the sunlight as flying jewels, hummingbirds are truly a joy to watch!

Living with Crystal Peak is captivating as she is simultaneously never changing and always changing.

What affect does nature have on you? Are you drawn to gardens and green spaces? In this time of the worldwide pandemic do you especially find nature soothing – or does television, alcohol and the internet make you feel happier? Does belief in God play a part on how you feel?
